Vanessa Bell Calloway’s TV Directorial Debut with Sunday’s Episode of ‘Saints & Sinners’

After honing her skills working on independent short films and digital content, veteran actress Vanessa Bell Calloway (who also stars in the series) directs episode 207 of Bounce’s hit drama “Saints & Sinners,” which airs on Sunday, April 16.

In the episode, titled “The Queen and the Criminal,” a new first family emerges as Lady Ella and Rex drop a bomb on Kendrick and Christie. Miles faces double grief on his own, when a loved one returns right on time.

Starring Calloway in the lead role as Lady Ella, “Saints & Sinners” follows a Southern Baptist church and its surrounding community, entrenched in a world of crime, lust, deceit and greed. Calloway shows her range by serving as an actor and the director for this Sunday’s episode.

Clifton Powell, Christian Keys, Keith Robinson, JD Williams, and Tray Chaney co-star on the series.

In addition to directing and starring in “Saints & Sinners,” the STARZ network recently announced that Calloway will be joining the cast of the LeBron James produced comedy “Survivor’s Remorse” in a recurring role. Calloway will portray Missy Vaughn’s (Teyonah Parris) mother, Camille Jordan.

“Saints & Sinners” airs on Bounce TV on Sunday nights at 9/8c.
